Lume Studio collaborated with League Twenty Two on the Nike x JD All-Star Weekend 2026 "Own the Block" project.
The brief was to visualize a block party takeover in Inglewood, bringing together LA’s music, street culture, and basketball into a cohesive spatial experience.
The process involved a lot of exploration. Multiple layouts, lighting conditions, and environmental directions were tested through continuous 3D iterations to find the right balance of energy, scale, and authenticity.
What’s presented here is the final direction, along with a selection of alternate studies that played a key role in shaping it. While not all of them made it to execution, they remain an important part of the thinking behind the project.
This was a collaborative effort across teams, built through constant back-and-forth and shared intent.
